Artist of the Month is an RCS High School program that acknowledges an art student each month. The Artist of the Month is a student who comes to class each day ready to learn, participates in class, is dedicated to their projects, and has a positive attitude.
Artist of the Month for January is Sonia Snyder!
Sonia is a 12th grade student currently enrolled in AP 2D Art & Design, courses previously taken include: Studio in Art, Graphic Design, and Drawing & Panting! Sonia is very creative, constantly working on something (or even a few things at once!) Sonia works in a variety of media and will often experiment with materials. Sonia is an active member of the National Art Honor Society and has recently shown work in the Juried High School Students Art Show 2024 hosted by Columbia Greene Community College. Sonia was also part of the Congressional Art Show hosted by Paul Tonko last May!
