Artist of the Month is an RCS High School program that acknowledges an art student each month. The Artist of the Month is a student who comes to class each day ready to learn, participates in class, is dedicated to their projects, and has a positive attitude.
Artist of the Month for December is Jessica Diaz!
Jessica is a 12th grade student currently enrolled in Ceramics, she has previously taken Studio in Art, Drawing, and Painting, & AP 2D Art and Design. Jessica works consistently through class and always uses her time in a meaningful way. Jessica’s work is highly detailed. Her artwork has a beautiful balance of sophistication and creativity. All of her work holds meaning. The pieces are connected to a narrative. Jessica is also an active member of NAHS for the past three years. Jessica has used every opportunity she was given to explore and build her art skills and connections to the community.
