The Office of Student Support and Special Education will be holding its first Parent University on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Middle School LGR (Large Group Room).
Parent University is for parents of students with disabilities. Topics that will be covered that evening will be a general overview of RCS Special Education. From Committees for Special Education (CSE) contacts, committee meetings, reevaluation, continuum of services, the processes for teaching assistant (TA) or a building aide (BA) justification, Parents’ Rights, and Extended School Year Eligibility. Light refreshments will be served.
